Possible Google Pixel Watch 4 WiFi-Only and LTE Versions – FCC Certification and Tipped Details
Four new Google products have been listed on the FCC certification database as ‘wireless devices’ with the model numbers of ‘G8AK3’, ‘GHH4K’, ‘G1KAW’, and ‘GWSQ2’, and these have been certified by the FCC authority with respective FCC IDs of ‘A4RG8AK3’, ‘A4RGHH4K’, ‘A4RG1KAW’, and ‘A4RGWSQ2’. To note, the ‘G8AK3’ and ‘GHH4K’ are WiFi-only variants, whereas the ‘G1KAW’ and ‘GWSQ2’ are LTE variants, and these are believed to be the next Google Pixel Watch 4 smartwatch WiFi-only and LTE versions.
Speaking more, a few other connectivity specs of these smartwatch models have also been revealed via the FCC database and these include the triple-band WiFi 6 support (2.4GHz, 5.2GHz, 5.3GHz, 5.6GHz, 5.8GHz, 5.9GHz), Bluetooth (BR + EDR + LE, 2400MHz ~ 2483.5MHz), NFC (13.56MHz), and UWB (6489.6MHz, 7987.2MHz) connectivity.
Coming to the tipped details, tipster @MysteryLupin via his X post has again revealed that the Google Pixel Watch 4 device WiFi-only and LTE versions could be made available in 41mm and 45mm sizes, and the smartwatch device is said to arrive in five different color choices of Black/Obsidian, Gold/Lemon, Moonstone, Silver/Iris, and Silver/Porcelain. [The respective model numbers for the WiFi-only and LTE versions’ 41mm and 45mm sizes are not known as of now, however two models for both the WiFi-only and LTE versions have been certified on FCC.]
Additionally, added strap options may also be made available with Google’s Pixel Watch 4 device: 2-Tone Leather Bands in Jade color; Active Band in Iris, Lemongrass, and Moonstone colors; Active Sport Band in Indigo, Lemongrass, Moonstone, and Peony colors; Crafted Leather Band in Moonstone color; Metal Mesh Band in Matte Black and Polished Silver colors; Performance Loop Band in Moonstone color; Woven Band in Indigo color; and Gradient Stretch Band (Sizes 1 – 5) in Lemongrass/Frost, Moonstone, Obsidian/Hazel, and Peony/Iris colors
Speaking more, the 5K renders and 360° video of the Google Pixel Watch 4 were leaked online previously, and the upcoming device was revealed to retain more or less the same design as that of its predecessor, but with a slimmer bezel and a thicker form factor (14.3mm). Furthermore, the missing charging pins at the bottom also suggests that it is likely to support wireless charging capability as well.
