It is powered by a chipset that includes four cores clocked at 2.20GHz, three cores clocked at 3.20GHz and a single core clocked at 3.40GHz. The chipset is paired with the Mali-G720 MC8 GPU. Previous reports suggest that the POCO X8 Pro will be the rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 5 smartphone (China), and if you recall, the Redmi Turbo 5 is also powered by the Dimensity 8500 SoC.

Other than this, the global variant was spotted with a 12GB RAM variant and Android 16 OS.

The upcoming POCO X8 Pro is expected to boast features like a 6.59-inch OLED 1.5K 120Hz display, 50MP (OIS) main camera+ 8MP ultrawide camera on the rear side, a 20MP selfie camera, 6500 mAh battery (slightly smaller than Redmi Turbo 5), 100W fast charging, and an IP69 rating.

The smartphone brand may soon announce the global launch of the POCO X8 Pro and POCO X8 Pro Max devices. Stay tuned for all the latest updates.
