Oppo Find X9 Ultra (CPH2841) Global Variant Now Clears GCF Certification, Revealing Connectivity Options

Earlier, Oppo Find X9 Ultra’s global model number was spotted on Thailand’s NBTC and Indonesia’s TKDN certifications, which sort of confirms its launch in these countries. Well, now more details about its connectivity have been revealed via a new GCF listing.

Here is more to it.

Oppo Find X9 Ultra – GCF (Global Certification Forum) Certification

On the GCF (Global Certification Forum) certification, the model number “CPH2841” is listed, and under the manufacturer name, it shows “Guangdong OPPO Mobile Telecommunications Corp Ltd”. Further, the listing confirms that the device received approval with GCF reference number “13622” on March 17th.

Via this certification, GSM / EDGE / HSPA / LTE (FDD + TDD) / 5G (SA & NSA) cellular connectivity options are revealed. Currently, this certification only shows “Supports Removable UICC”, which means the device has a physical slot designed to accept a traditional, removable SIM card. However, there is no mention of whether it will support e-SIM or not.

Moving on to the specs, as per previous reports, this foldable smartphone will feature a Sony LYT-901 image sensor, which Vivo has already confirmed for the X300 Ultra smartphone. Additionally, a report by GSMArena further reveals that this will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC paired with 16GB RAM/512GB storage. Along with this, it is expected to feature a quad rear camera setup, a 200MP main camera, a 200MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 50MP selfie shooter. Both Oppo and Hasselblad will continue their partnership and will bring an improved Hasselblad Master Mode with this smartphone. Battery and charging specs will likely include a 7,050 mAh battery, with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Talking about the build and design, you can expect a metal frame body with a fake leather back. The thickness of this smartphone will be between 8.65mm and 9.1mm, and it will weigh around 235g or 236g. For water and dust resistance, the phone will come with an IP66/IP68/IP69 rating.

Its China launch is expected to happen in April, and though Oppo has confirmed that the Find X9 Ultra will also launch globally later this year, an exact timeline is not available at the moment.
