OPPO Find X9 Global Variant (CPH2797) Spotted on the SIRIM Certification Database, Confirming its Malaysian Launch

The global variant of the upcoming OPPO Find X9 smartphone has now been spotted on the SIRIM certification database of Malaysia ahead of its Chinese debut that has been scheduled in the mid-half of next month (16th October 2025). Via its new certification listing, the launch of the device in the Malaysian market has also been confirmed.

OPPO Find X9 Global Variant (CPH2797) – SIRIM Certification

As per the SIRIM certification listings, it is the OPPO smartphone with the model number of ‘CPH2797’ that will be hitting the global market as the next OPPO Find X9, and its moniker has been mentioned on the certification database. It has received the SIRIM certification with the type approval code of ‘RGQL/68J/0925/S(25-4979)’, and it has been listed under the ‘Mobile Phone’ device category. To note, its certification validity is till the 28th of September 2030.

Previously it was the OPPO ‘CPH2791’ that was believed to be the OPPO Find X9 global variant, however the SIRIM database has proved it wrong. From what it seems, it could be the OPPO Find X9 Pro smartphone’s global variant that carries the model number of ‘CPH2791’. Speaking more, the actual OPPO Find X9 global variant with the model number of ‘CPH2797’ has by now made its appearance on the IMDA, GCF, WiFi Alliance, SDPPI, and TKDN certification databases. Additionally, it was also listed on the import and export website as well. As per these listings, a 6.5″ display, 12GB/512GB storage option, 2G/3G/4G/5G network, WiFi 7 with triple band support, and Android 16 OS have been revealed for the device.

Just to add, apart from the OPPO Find X9 series consisting of the OPPO Find X9 and the OPPO Find X9 Pro smartphones models, the OPPO Watch S and the OPPO Pad 5 are also going to be unveiled in China along with the flagship smartphones on the same day.
