Oppo Find N6 (CPH2765) Geekbench Listing Reveals 7-Core Version of Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC

Oppo’s next flagship foldable smartphone, the Oppo Find N6’s global variant, has now been spotted on the Geekbench database with what appears to be a 7-core version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC.

Here is more to it.

Oppo Find N6 – Geekbench

On Geekbench, the Oppo Find N6 global variant is listed with the model number “CPH2765” and shows a single-core score of 3524 and a multi-core score of 9090. The CPU configuration shows two clusters, with cluster 1 having 2 cores clocked at 4.361 GHz and the remaining 5 cores at 3.63 GHz. From the source code, it is also revealed to feature an Adreno 840 GPU.

Looking at how the cores are clocked, and the GPU mentioned, it matches the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. However, the standard chipset features an octa-core processor, where 2 prime cores run at 4.61 GHz and 6 performance cores at 3.63 GHz.

So, this could be the 7-core version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, which hasn’t been officially announced by Qualcomm yet. Furthermore, the listing confirms that the prototype unit running Geekbench was operating on Android 16 (CPH2765_16.0.4.600(EX01)) with 16GB of RAM.

This 7-core version isn’t new. In fact, its predecessor, the Oppo Find N5, was launched with a 7-core version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. At that time, it was said that the reason behind reducing one performance core was to offer better heat management and improved battery life.

Previously, we had spotted the device on the TDRA and IMDA certifications, confirming its launch in the UAE and Singapore markets. The TÜV listing revealed support for 80W fast wired charging. Not only this, but the Chinese variant was also found listed on the 3C certification with model numbers “PLP110 – standard” and “PLP120 – BeiDou satellite communication version”, revealing the same charging specifications.

Other details revealed so far include a 200MP main camera, a 6000mAh battery, AI Pen support, a thin and light form factor, and Titanium and Orange colour options.

Regarding its launch, tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) had earlier said that Oppo will launch the Find N6 after the Chinese Spring Festival, which ends on March 3rd. However, he did not provide a definitive launch date. Another tipster, Yogesh Brar, claims that it will launch both in China and globally on March 17th. However, as per him, there is currently no India launch planned for the Find N6.
