Oppo A6s (PLT120) spotted on China Telecom website, China launch seems imminent

Oppo recently announced the Oppo A6s in both 4G and 5G options for the global markets. Well, now, it appears Oppo is soon going to launch the Oppo A6s in its home market, China, as it has now been spotted on the China Telecom website, revealing key specifications.

The upcoming Oppo A6s 5G (model number PLT120) has surfaced on the China Telecom website, and shows that it is listed with a 6.75″ display carrying a resolution of 1570 × 720 pixels and supporting capacitive touch input. It is powered by an Armv8-A based processor clocked at 2.4GHz (same as the Dimensity 6300 SoC) and runs on Android 15 out of the box.

As per the listing, multiple memory variants are confirmed, including 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage, with storage expansion supported up to 256GB. Speaking more about the cameras, the Oppo A6s 5G features an 8MP front-facing camera and a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary sensor paired with a 2MP secondary sensor.

The device packs a large 7,000mAh battery and supports charging via USB Type-C. Connectivity options listed include dual SIM support, 5G with carrier aggregation, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB 2.0, and USB OTG, while NFC is mentioned as unsupported. It also includes a fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.

Dimension-wise, the handset measures 166.61 × 78.51 × 8.61mm and weighs 216 grams. The colour options listed are Dawn gold, twilight blue, and seashell white. The listing also reveals the release date as 23rd January 2026, which would likely be either the sales date or the launch date itself.

In related news, the same model number had earlier appeared on the MIIT and TENAA certification platforms, where the White colour option was also listed, though the battery was mentioned as having a 6,830mAh rated capacity. Those listings revealed a similar set of specifications, which now further aligns with what has surfaced via the China Telecom database.

Looking at the specifications, it matches with that of the Oppo A6s 5G Global variant that comes with the Dimensity 6300 SoC. This suggests that the Chinese variant of the Oppo A6s 5G is likely a rebranded version of the global Oppo A6s 5G.
