Last week, we spotted a new OPPO smartphone on the MIIT certification platform and now, this upcoming device has also made its way to the TENAA database as well. It is pointed out to be OPPO’s next A6 5G smartphone and the certification listing has revealed a few of its notable key specs.
Here’s more about the update.
OPPO A6 5G – TENAA Certification
The OPPO smartphone that carries the model number of ‘PLS120′ is revealed to be the upcoming OPPO A6 5G device, and it has received the TENAA certification with the certificate number of ’02-D124-252530’. The device has again been listed as a ‘5G digital mobile phone’, and an ultra high definition display, large capacity battery, under display fingerprint scanner, face recognition, and dual SIM dual standby are noted as its key features.
Looking more into the revealed specs, a 2.4 GHz-clocked octa-core processor is pointed out to power the device, and it will be coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage, along with 2TB of expandable storage support. A 6.57″ AMOLED display screen will also be a part of it, and it is suggested to offer 1080 x 2372 pixel resolution and 1073.74 million color depth. On the camera side, a 50MP + 2MP rear camera system and a 16MP front-facing camera can be expected. Also, the device will be packing a 6830 mAh rated battery backup too. Other key specs include the 2G/3G/4G/5G network, Bluetooth, USB, under-display fingerprint scanner, face recognition, gravity/distance/light sensor, 158.2 x 75.02 x 8 mm dimension, and 185 gm weight. A Dark Blue color variant can also be expected for it.
Speaking more, as per the tipster who has shared the update, the upcoming OPPO A6 5G which will be hitting the Chinese market is said to show certain similarities with OPPO’s Reno 14F 5G device that was introduced in the global market. However, there are notable differences too particularly with respect to the battery, dimension, and weight – meaning that the OPPO A6 5G won’t be an entirely re-branded version of the OPPO Reno 14F 5G.
Probably in the coming days, more updates may come to light regarding OPPO’s upcoming A6 5G device. Stay tuned and don’t miss out on them.
