Oppo A5 Plus 5G Spotted on Google Play Console Supported Devices List, Hints at Oppo A3 Pro Rebrand
There is a new rebranded smartphone that will likely break cover soon in China, called the Oppo A5 Plus 5G. This is because we have spotted it on the Google Play Console supported devices list with the model number “PJY110”.
This is the same model number used for the Oppo A3 Pro (China), and in the listing, both are shown together, confirming that the upcoming Oppo A5 Plus 5G will simply be a rebranded version of the Oppo A3 Pro 5G.

For those who don’t know, the Oppo A3 Pro was launched in China back in April of last year. So it’s the same smartphone with just a different name. Regarding the launch timeline, since it has now been spotted, Oppo may soon announce the launch date. It has a dual rear camera (64MP main + 2MP depth) with 4K video support, and an 8MP front camera. The 5,000 mAh battery supports 67W fast charging (56% in 20 min) and reverse wired charging.
Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, USB-C, and infrared, with IP69 water/dust resistance. The phone measures 162.7 x 74.3 x 7.5/7.9 mm, weighs 177g or 182g, and offers Blue, Pink, and Mint colour options.
