OnePlus Watch 4 may arrive as rebranded Oppo Watch X3, reveals EMVCO certification

OnePlus is planning to launch the successor to the OnePlus Watch 3 soon, as it has now been spotted on the EMVCO certification under the moniker “OnePlus Watch 4”.
Here is more to it.
OnePlus Watch 4 spotted on EMVCO
The EMVCO certification listing has revealed the name of OnePlus’ upcoming smartwatch along with some early details. As per the database, there are two separate entries associated with the device. One of the listings only mentions the moniker OnePlus Watch 4 and carries the approval number “MTA_LOA_OPTC_06112”, with the approval granted on January 6th, 2026.
The second listing appears with the approval number “MTA_LOA_GOMT_06032” and reveals the model number “OPWWE261”, with the moniker clearly mentioned as OnePlus Watch 4.
Interestingly, the same model number had previously appeared on Malaysia’s SIRIM certification platform, where the device was listed under the moniker Oppo Watch X3.

This suggests that OnePlus and Oppo may continue with their rebranding strategy, similar to what was seen earlier, as the OnePlus Watch 2 had launched as a rebranded version of the Oppo Watch X2.
Speaking more about the certification, the listing also confirms that the OnePlus Watch 4 will run Wear OS 6 based on Android 16 out of the box. The EMVCO database further confirms that NFC support will be present on the smartwatch.
Additionally, since the Oppo Watch X3 has already been revealed to support 10W fast charging, this indicates that the OnePlus Watch 4 could also arrive with similar charging specs.
As for the launch timeline, the OnePlus Watch 3 was announced in February last year but faced delays due to a typo (“Meda in China”) on the product. It was later officially launched, with pre-order shipments beginning on April 15, 2025. Going by this, if there are no such issues this year, the OnePlus Watch 4 could launch as early as February itself. That said, there is no official confirmation yet, and for now, more details are expected to surface in the coming days.
