OnePlus China President Li Jie Louis had earlier hinted at the upcoming Turbo series, which is expected to make its debut in January 2026. In that post, he stated that the new Turbo lineup would focus on powerful performance, a strong gaming experience, and long battery life. Now, he has shared another key confirmation—this time regarding the battery capacity of the Turbo series—via a Weibo post.
According to Li Jie Louis, the Turbo series will feature a battery even larger than the 8,300mAh unit found in the OnePlus Ace 6T. Following this statement, several users have begun speculating that the device could pack a 9,000mAh battery, which aligns with recent rumours.
In his latest Weibo post, he also mentioned that going forward, the Turbo series will aim to lead the segment in terms of battery life among Turbo-branded smartphones. As for the chipset, the device is rumoured to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC.
More details are expected to emerge as the January 2026 launch window approaches.
