OnePlus Turbo Design Aspects Revealed Via Leaked Live Images; New Details Concerning its Specs and Launch Also Pointed Out

The live images of the upcoming OnePlus Turbo smartphone have now been leaked online, revealing many of its design aspects. Also, new details concerning the smartphone’s specs and launch have also been pointed out.

OnePlus Turbo – Live Images, Specs, Launch Details, and More Revealed

It is via the new update from Android Headlines the live images of the OnePlus Turbo smartphone have been leaked and as per which, the device is revealed to feature an overall boxy design with round corners. Its display screen is flat and equips a centrally-placed punch-hole selfie camera, along with seemingly symmetrical thin bezels on all four sides. The display also appears to have a large viewing area too. Notably, since the fingerprint scanner is positioned at a lower portion of the display, the device might have an optical fingerprint scanner (assuming*).

At the upper-left portion of the rear panel, a squircle-shaped slightly-projected camera module can be spotted, and it is suggested to house two camera sensors (each within separate circular units) and an LED flashlight within a pill-like unit. Coming to the sides, there are the volume rockers + power button at the right side panel, and the speaker unit + USB-C port + microphone hole + card tray at the bottom. On the top side panel, added microphone holes and an IR blaster can be found.

The device in the live images is the Blue color variant as per Android Headlines, and it features a Greenish Blue color tone and a glossy finish. Apart from the Blue color variant, a Black color variant is also said to be offered. To add, previously color choices of Unique Black, Ocean Green, and Light Chaser Silver were tipped.

As mentioned, a few new details concerning the smartphone have been revealed. The OnePlus Turbo which is codenamed – ‘Prado’ is mentioned to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip, and it will offer 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB storage options (12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/256GB, and 16GB/512GB were previously tipped*). However, earlier the device was suggested to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip, and it was reiterated by the AnTuTu and Geekbench databases as well. To note, there is a OnePlus Turbo V model that is coming under the brand’s Turbo series, and this device is expected to use a Snapdragon 7-series chip.

The same source also mentions specs like 6.8″ 1.5K 144Hz OLED display (previously said to feature 6.78″ LTPS OLED BOE flat display with 1.5K resolution and 165Hz refresh rate*), 50MP (main) + 8MP (ultra-wide) dual rear cameras, 32MP selfie camera, 9000mAh battery backup (previously said to offer 9000+mAh battery*), 80W wired charging, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and Android 16-based OxygenOS 16 custom skin.

In terms of its launch, while previous updates have been suggesting a January 2026 launch for the OnePlus Turbo, the new update states that it could be unveiled around March 2026, during the time of the MWC 2026 event. Also, it has again been added that the Turbo moniker is probably only going to remain in China, and in global markets the device may come as part of the Nord line-up.
