Via the OnePlus India support page, it has now been indicated that the next Nord series smartphone will indeed be the OnePlus Nord 6. Previously, the OnePlus Nord 2 Pac-Man Edition was launched back in 2021 as the first themed special edition device under the Nord series lineup. With this, the newly spotted Naruto Edition smartphone is expected to be the second themed edition device in the Nord series. Speaking about this special edition variant, it is likely to feature the same specifications as the standard Nord 6 smartphone. And since it is going to be a themed edition, it is expected to come with a customised retail box, custom themed-based UI, and additional merchandise, although the exact details are not known at the moment.

Earlier reports have revealed that the OnePlus Nord 6 smartphone has two model numbers – “CPH2793” and “CPH2795”, out of which the former is said to be associated with the Indian variant, while the latter is believed to be for the global variant. Both variants have reportedly appeared on the Geekbench database, revealing similar specs such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, Android 16 OS, and 12GB RAM.

Along with this, the global variant’s TÜV listing has revealed support for 80W wired fast charging. This is expected to be the same for the Indian variant as well. Also, while the GCF certification has revealed the connectivity options of the global variant, certifications from Malaysia’s SIRIM and the UAE’s TDRA suggest that the smartphone will be launched in those markets as well.

Apart from the specifications, tipster Yogesh Brar has also revealed that the Nord 6 is expected to be available in two memory variants – 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB. As per him, due to a rise in component cost, the Nord 6 is going to be priced 3k-5k higher than its predecessor, the Nord 5. He further added that there won’t be a 512GB storage option introduced this time, for the same reason of rise in component cost.

In addition to this, the tipster also shared an image of a retail box unit, which suggests features such as a 9000mAh battery, a 165Hz 1.5K “Sunburst” AMOLED display, a 50MP Sony main camera with OIS, and a 32MP front camera with autofocus. Moreover, a real-life image of the smartphone shared by the tipster has also revealed its design, which appears to be similar to the OnePlus Turbo 6 that was recently launched in China.

Based on the rumours and details revealed so far, the upcoming smartphone is expected to arrive as a rebranded version of the OnePlus Turbo 6.
