OnePlus 15R Camera Specs Leak Reveal 50MP IMX906 Sensor and Upgraded 32MP Selfie Camera

OnePlus has already begun teasing the launch of the OnePlus 15R for both global and Indian audiences. Earlier, the design of the smartphone was revealed, and it looks quite similar to the OnePlus Ace 6T, which was launched earlier this month in China. Rumours suggest that the OnePlus 15R may come as a rebranded version of the Ace 6T. However, a new leak from tipster Gadgetsdata (shared exclusively with us) has now shared the camera specifications, which show a slight change in the front camera specs.
According to the tipster, the rear setup will feature a 50MP main sensor with OIS using the same Sony IMX906 found in the Ace 6T paired with an 8MP ultrawide camera. This is similar to what we saw on the Ace 6T. The difference appears on the front. While the Ace 6T comes with a 16MP selfie camera, the OnePlus 15R is tipped to upgrade this to a 32MP sensor.
So far, OnePlus has officially confirmed two colour options, which are black and green. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, along with a touch response chip and the G2 Gaming Chip. It is also confirmed to support IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, feature a 165Hz display, support 120FPS gameplay, and carry TÜV Rheinland Intelligent Eye Care 5.0 certification. The Indian variant will include a 7,400mAh battery, which is smaller than the 8,400mAh unit in the Chinese model.
On top of this, the phone recently appeared on Geekbench, where the global and Indian variant was shown running Android 16 with 12GB of RAM. With the launch drawing closer, we can expect OnePlus to reveal more official details in the next few days.
