One UI 8.5 revealed to include refreshed battery graph UI and a new album art transition effect in media player

In our recent reports, we shared with you the new changes and improvements that are being spotted in the upcoming One UI 8.5 by various tipsters. Today, tipster @tarunvats33 has shared about two new changes that are seen in the custom skin.

In One UI 8.5, the media player now adds a new album art transition effect while users switch between different tracks on their device.

The battery graph UI has also been refreshed, giving it a more subtle and clean look when seen at a glance.

Previous reports revealed that One UI 8.5 will come with an adaptive clock, weather effect, a floating search bar, and a bold status bar icon. A new Software Download screen and notification badges, system-wide 3D app icons, and a gradient appearance for the weather app were also spotted in the upcoming custom skin.

With One UI 8.5, Samsung seems to be polishing the design of the UI in order to enhance the user experience. The South Korean tech giant has not made any official announcement regarding the release of One UI 8.5, but it is assumed that it could debut with the flagship Galaxy S26 series that is expected to launch at the beginning of 2026.
