Nubia Z80 Ultra (NX741J) Appears on China’s 3C and MIIT Certification Databases: 100W Wired Fast Charge Support and Connectivity Aspects Revealed
The upcoming Nubia Z80 Ultra flagship smartphone is all set to make its official debut next month (October 2025) as the brand’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered device and now, it has made its appearance on the 3C and MIIT certification databases. Via the new certification listings, its wired fast charge support and connectivity aspects have also been revealed.
Nubia Z80 Ultra (NX741J) – 3C and MIIT Certifications
Again pointing to its arrival in the Chinese market, the Nubia Z80 Ultra smartphone which carries the model number of ‘NX741J’ has received the 3C certification with the certificate number of ‘2025011606815203’. It has been categorized as a ‘5G digital mobile phone’, and the charging adapter with the model number of ‘STC-A118202045AC1′ has been listed along with the device on the certification platform. Its 3C certification will be valid till the 5th of December 2027, and it is revealed to support up to 100W wired fast charging (21.0VDC x 4.5A = 94.5W).
On the MIIT certification database, the device has been certified with the license number of ’02-B656-252675’ and just like on the 3C database, it is listed as a ‘5G digital mobile phone’. Its MIIT certification will only be valid till the 18th of August 2028, and specs such as 5G/4G/3G/2G network, eMBB technology, dual-SIM dual-standby, and 5G cross-network roaming have been pointed out. The tipster (@WHYLAB) who has shared the update also tips that the upcoming Nubia Z80 Ultra will continue using the 35mm primary shooter just like its predecessor, with improved capabilities.
In related news, Nubia’s gaming subsidiary – RedMagic has also teased the gaming e-flagships that will be launching under the RedMagic 11 Pro series and these will also be debuting next month in October 2025, featuring Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
