This new and upcoming Galaxy Chromebook Plus device has been certified by the Safety Korea authority with the certification number of ‘YU101308-25003’, and its model number is mentioned to be ‘XQ550XGA’. To note, ‘XQ551XGA’ is also listed as the derivative model number. While the naming convention suggests it to be the next 360 model because of the ‘Q’ in the model numbers, the live image listed reveals it to be Samsung’s next Galaxy Chromebook Plus device. Also, the absence of the 360° rotatable hinge further confirms it as well (via).
Coming to the FCC certification, we are able to understand that the upcoming device will arrive as the successor to the ‘XE550XGA’ model, and both the ‘XQ550XGA’ and ‘XQ551XGA’ are listed as derivative models. The FCC listing also categorizes the upcoming device as a ‘Notebook PC’, and it is revealed to support WiFi 6 and Bluetooth (BDR + EDR + LE) connectivity.
