New Vivo Battery (BW-D0) With 13,000mAh Capacity Spotted on the TUV Rheinland Certification Platform
A new battery from Vivo has now been spotted on the TUV Rheinland certification platform. Via this listing, its battery capacity and other details have also been revealed.

New Vivo Battery (BW-D0) – TUV Rheinland Certification
On the TUV Rheinland certification platform, the Vivo battery which carries the model number of ‘BW-D0’ has been listed, and it has received the certification with the certificate number of ‘JPTUV-182093’. This Vivo battery has been categorized as a ‘rechargeable Li-ion battery’, and it is pointed out to have a typical battery capacity of 13,000mAh (rated value – 12,700mAh). Two country codes of ‘KR’ and ‘SA’ are also given on the certification platform, suggesting its availability in South Korea and Saudi Arabia.
It is not sure which of Vivo’s upcoming products will be using this battery, however with future updates, we’ll be able to identify it.
Looking into a few other related updates, last month in December 2025, Vivo officially unveiled its S50 series for Chinese customers, consisting of the Vivo S50 and the Vivo S50 Pro mini smartphone models. Alongside these smartphones, the Vivo Pad 5 Pro Soft Light Edition tablet model was also introduced in China. A few days back, in the Vietnamese market, Vivo’s Y31d smartphone was launched, notably with IP69+ rating and 7,200mAh battery backup.
Speaking more, Vivo’s subsidiary, iQOO has announced the launch of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5-powered iQOO Z11 Turbo smartphone in China, and its debut will be taking place this month in January 2026. Just recently, in the Chinese market, the iQOO 15 Ultra launch was also confirmed, and it will be taking place soon, before the Chinese New Year/Spring Festival.
