New Redmi and POCO Smartphones Dekra Certification Listing Spotted; The Redmi Smartphone Also Certified by the FCC Authority

On the Dekra certification platform, new Redmi and POCO smartphone models have been spotted, revealing a few key details. Additionally, the Redmi smartphone has also been certified by the FCC authority, again pointing out other details.

New Redmi and POCO Smartphones – Dekra Certification

The Redmi smartphone with the model numbers of  ‘25128RN17L’, ‘25128RN17Y’, and ‘25128RN17A’, as well as the POCO smartphone with the model numbers of ‘25128PC17G’ and ‘25128PC17L’ have been listed on the Dekra database, and they have received the certification with the certificate number of ‘NL-121951’. These Redmi and POCO devices are believed to be re-branded versions of each other, and the different models are their regional variants.

Also, the certification listing categorizes the two under the ‘Mobile Phone’ section and confirms a possible 15W wired fast charge support (5Vdc x 3A = 15W). Moreover, the launch of the devices in Europe (particularly in Netherlands) and the United Kingdom have also been revealed via the country codes of ‘EU’ and ‘GB’.

Redmi ‘25128RN17L’ – FCC Certification

Coming to the FCC certification, the Redmi smartphone with the model number of ‘25128RN17L’ has been certified, and it has received the certification with the FCC ID of ‘2AFZZ8RN17L’. This device has again been categorized as a ‘Mobile Phone’, and it is revealed to be a 4G smartphone supporting 2G/3G/4G network connectivity. Speaking more, other key specs like the Xiaomi HyperOS 3.0 custom skin (based on the Android 16 OS), WiFi 5 (with 2.4GHz and 5GHz dual band support), and Bluetooth (BR + EDR + LE) have also been revealed for the device.

Also to add, an internal schematic image of the upcoming Redmi smartphone has also been revealed via the FCC database, as per which the device is suggested to sport a pill-shaped vertically-placed camera module housing two internal units. The LED flashlight appears to be given outside at the right of the camera module. Its card tray is also pointed out to be given at the top portion of the left side panel.

In related news, the POCO device with the model numbers of ‘25128PC17G’ (global variant), ‘25128PC17L’ (Latin American variant), and ‘25128PC17I’ (Indian variant) were also listed on the GSMA IMEI database (received via XiaomiTime), however it was earlier reported to be an upcoming tablet device. However, the Dekra database mentions it as a ‘Mobile Phone’.
