New OnePlus Watch (OPWWE262) Receives the TUV Rheinland Certification, Revealing 5W Charging Support
A new smartwatch from OnePlus has now been listed on the TUV Rheinland certification platform. Via its certification listing, its charging specs and a design/build aspect have been revealed.

New OnePlus Watch (OPWWE262) – TUV Rheinland Certification
On the TUV Rheinland certification platform, the OnePlus smartwatch carrying the model number of ‘OPWWE262’ has been listed and it has received the certification with the certificate number of ‘JPTUV-178303’. This device is categorized under the ‘Smart Watch’ section and is pointed out to support 5W wired charging and it features class III protection (protective design + low voltage operation). Also, the country codes – ‘EU’, ‘CA’, ‘US’, and ‘SA’ suggest its arrival in Europe, Canada, United States, and Saudi Arabia.

Speaking more, both the OnePlus Watch 2 and the OnePlus Watch 2R smartwatch models were unveiled featuring a 7.5W charging support, whereas the OnePlus Watch 3 as well as its trimmed down version – OnePlus Watch 3 43mm support 10W charging. Considering these factors, the now TUV Rheinland-listed OnePlus smartwatch could be an entirely new product which is coming soon to the market. With future updates, we will be able to confirm more details concerning the upcoming device.
Regarding a few other related updates, the arrival of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered OnePlus 15 flagship smartphone has been teased both in China and India, and unlike previous years, this time it will be supporting a 165Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the brand has also teased a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5-powered smartphone too for Chinese customers and it is believed to be the next OnePlus Ace 6 . Also, the OnePlus Ace 6 smartphone is expected to hit the global market some time later, re-branded as the OnePlus 15R device.
