Motorola Edge 70 Fusion spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 instead of rumoured 7s Gen 3

Motorola’s upcoming Edge 70 Fusion has now surfaced on the Geekbench database, suggesting that its launch could arrive earlier than last year’s Edge 60 Fusion, which debuted in April.
Here is more to it.
Motorola Edge 70 Fusion – Geekbench
According to the Geekbench listing, the Edge 70 Fusion runs Android 16 and is backed by 12GB (11.14 GB) of RAM. The chipset configuration, featuring a prime core at 2.71GHz, three performance cores at 2.40GHz, and four efficiency cores at 1.80GHz, along with the Adreno 810 GPU, points toward a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC. The device scored 1,215 in single-core and 3,186 in multi-core tests, with an OpenCL score of 3,569.
Earlier leaks had suggested that the Edge 70 Fusion could be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. However, this Geekbench listing suggests that Motorola may be opting for the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 instead.

Interestingly, the Edge 60 Fusion was launched in April last year, but with this benchmark listing now surfacing, it hints that Motorola could be preparing to announce the Edge 70 Fusion earlier this time. If this Geekbench information turns out to be accurate, it would also make the Edge 70 Fusion a clear upgrade over the Edge 60 Fusion, which was powered by the Dimensity 7400. As of now, Motorola has not confirmed anything officially, so all details should be taken with a pinch of salt.
