Moto Buds 2 Plus (XT2641-1) Certified by the FCC and TDRA Authorities: 60mAh/510mAh Batteries, Pantone Trekking Green Color, and More Revealed

Motorola’s next Moto Buds 2 Plus earbuds device has now been certified by the FCC and TDRA certification authorities. In addition to its launch confirmation in the US and UAE, a few of its key specs have also been pointed.

Moto Buds 2 Plus (XT2641-1) – FCC and TDRA Certification

The Moto Buds 2 Plus which carries the model number of ‘XT2641-1’ has been listed on the FCC certification database as a ‘wireless earphones’, and it has received the certification with the FCC ID of ‘IHDT6AC2’. As per the FCC certification listing, the earbuds units each will be equipped with 60mAh rated batteries (model number – ‘CH1154AA’), whereas the charging case will pack a 510mAh battery. Just to add, the previous Moto Buds Plus offered up to 38 hours of playtime, and came with 10 minutes charging = 3 hours playtime fast charging capability.

Connectivity specs like Bluetooth/Bluetooth Low Energy with a frequency range of 2402MHz ~ 2480MHz as well as modulation modes of GFSK (BT, BLE), π/4DQPSK (BT), and 8DPSK (BT) are also supported. 0.5dB cable loss, 40 channels, 2MHz channel spacing, 1Mbps and 2Mbps data rate, FPC antenna type, and -4.4dBi left antenna/-4.17dBi right antenna gain have also been revealed for the device, along with the hardware version of ‘V3’ and software version of ‘V1.15.3.0’.

Notably, the moniker of the device has been mentioned on the FCC label, and a Pantone Trekking Green color choice will be made available for it.

About its TDRA certification listing, the Moto Buds 2 Plus with the same model number of ‘XT2641-1’ has been certified by the TDRA authority, and it has been listed with the equipment registration number of ‘ER54799/25’. On the TDRA database also, the device has been categorized as a ‘Wireless Earphones’, and its certification validity is mentioned to be till 23rd of December 2028.
