iQOO 15R First Listing Spotted on Bluetooth SIG Certification, Model Number Revealed

Back in November 2025, a listing surfaced on the IMEI database with the model number “I2508”. Tipster Paras Guglani shared this listing, which suggested that the model number was associated with an unannounced iQOO Neo 11 5G for the global and Indian markets. However, a newer certification listing now indicates that the device may instead be called the iQOO 15R.
Here is more to it.
iQOO 15R spotted on Bluetooth SIG
The model number “I2508” has now appeared on the Bluetooth SIG database, where it is listed under the moniker iQOO 15R. The same listing also includes the upcoming Vivo X300 FE, which we had covered earlier in a separate article.

So, the earlier IMEI listing that claimed this to be the global variant of the iQOO Neo 11 seems to be incorrect at the moment, or maybe iQOO has changed its naming strategy. There’s also a possibility that this device could arrive as a rebranded version of the upcoming iQOO Z11 Turbo, which is expected to launch soon in China.
The Geekbench listing of the iQOO Z11 Turbo has already revealed that it may be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC. Based on that, I feel the iQOO 15R could also end up featuring the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. Maybe iQOO is attempting a strategy similar to OnePlus (*assuming), where the OnePlus 15 launched with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, while the OnePlus 15R came with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5.
That said, since the current listing doesn’t reveal any hardware specs, it’s hard to say anything for sure right now. Hopefully, in the coming days, more details tied to this model number will surface and give us a clearer picture of what iQOO is planning.
