iQOO 15 Chinese Variant (V2505A) – Geekbench Listing
The iQOO 15 smartphone model with the model number of ‘V2505A’ has been listed on the Geekbench database, and this is its Chinese variant. Speaking more, we had previously spotted the Xiaomi 17 Pro and Galaxy S26 Edge smartphones on the Geekbench database, and these two are going to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip’s ‘Standard’ and ‘For Galaxy’ versions that are respectively clocked at 4.61GHz and 4.74GHz. However, it has to be noted that the clock speed of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip that is used within the iQOO 15 smartphone is considerably lower than both these mentioned versions.
Also to add, the tipster who has shared this update also tips that the debut of the iQOO 15 smartphone can be expected next month around the 20th of October 2025 in China.
iQOO 15 Global Variant (I2501) – Nemko Certification
Coming to the Nemko certification, the global variant of the iQOO 15 smartphone that carries the model number of ‘I2501’ has received the certification. It has been certified with the certificate number of ‘NO136086’, and it is categorized as a ‘Mobile Phone’ on the certification platform. Notably, unlike its predecessor, the upcoming iQOO 15 device is revealed to support a wireless charging capability. Additionally, it will also offer Class III protection (~ meaning it features a protective design and supports low voltage operation).
As mentioned, the 3C certification listing of the iQOO 15 smartphone (Chinese variant) was also spotted previously, and it was revealed to support a reduced 100W wired fast charging support too (iQOO 13 offered 120W wired charging support*).
