iQOO 15 Global Variant (I2501) Appears on the SIRIM and EEC Certification Platforms: Launch in Malaysia and Europe Confirmed

The next iQOO 15 flagship smartphone is said to have its official debut in the Chinese market this month in October 2025 and its India arrival has also been teased. Now, the global variant of this upcoming smartphone has made its appearance on the SIRIM and EEC certification platforms following its previous Geekbench and Nemko listings.

iQOO 15 Global Variant (I2501) – SIRIM and EEC Certifications
iQOO’s 15 flagship which carries the model number of ‘I2501’ has been listed on the SIRIM and EEC certification platforms and as mentioned, this is its global variant. On the SIRIM database, the device has received the certification with the type approval code of ‘RGQL/72J/1025/S(25-5119)’, and it has been categorized as a ‘mobile phone’. To note, its SIRIM certification validity is till the 2nd of October 2026. Coming to its EEC certification, the device has been certified with the notification number of ‘KZ0000011336’, and its EEC certification will be valid only till the 31st of December 2032. Also to add, its launch in both the Malaysian and European markets has been confirmed via these certifications.
Speaking more, specifications such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, Android 16-based OriginOS 6, 6.85″ 2K Samsung Everest Display, 7-cell Blue Ocean battery, Global Direct Power 2.0, wireless charging, new generation 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, IP68 + IP69-rated waterproof body, and color-changing back have been revealed for the upcoming iQOO 15 smartphone.
