iPhone 17e tipped to launch on 19th February
Following the launch of the iPhone 17 series last year, Apple fans are now waiting for the iPhone 17e. Lately, rumours have been circulating online about the iPhone 17e, but nothing has been officially confirmed.
The company introduced its iPhone 16e device last year on 19th February, and a new report by Macwelt reveals that this year Apple will introduce the successor of iPhone 16e- iPhone 17e on the same date this year.
iPhone 17e: Launch date tipped
According to the report, some industry sources revealed that the iPhone 17e will be unveiled on 19th February, 2026. Though this is a bit unusual, as 19th February falls on a Thursday and Apple usually introduces its new products on Monday or Tuesday (less frequently on a Wednesday). It is said that the company might not hold a separate launch event for the iPhone 17e device and might announce it via a press release (just like iPhone 16e).
Apart from the launch date, the report also mentions that the upcoming device will be equipped with MagSafe (charging power up to 25W). This will be a major upgrade from its predecessor (iPhone 16e), which arrived with Qi 1 charging standard (charging power up to 7.5W). The iPhone 17e is said to retain the single rear camera, notch, and Dynamic Island camera.
Reportedly, the upcoming device may feature a 6.1-inch LTPS OLED display that offers a 60Hz refresh rate. It could be powered by an A19 chip and pack a 48MP rear camera and 12MP front camera with face ID. The device is also rumoured to include C1X Modem and thinner bezels.
If the tipped launch date is accurate, then Apple may soon officially announce the launch of the iPhone 17e model in the coming days. Stay tuned.
