Infinix Smart 20 Spotted on Google Play Console and TÜV, Android 16, 4GB RAM and 5,100mAh Battery Revealed

The upcoming Infinix Smart 20 has appeared on the Google Play Console database and TÜV Rheinland certification, revealing key specs ahead of its official announcement.

Here is more to it.

Infinix Smart 20 – Google Play Console and TUV

The Google Play Console listing shows that the phone features a display with a resolution of 720 × 1576 pixels and a screen density of 280 DPI. The device is listed with around 4GB of RAM and runs Android 16. It carries the model numbers X6840B and X6840, with both using the marketing name Infinix Smart 20, which usually indicates different memory variants or market-specific versions.

The listing also reveals that the phone is powered by a MediaTek chipset with the internal codename MT6769. The CPU configuration includes two ARM Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 2.0GHz and six ARM Cortex-A55 cores at 1.7GHz, along with an ARM Mali-G52 GPU. Based on these details, the chipset corresponds to the MediaTek Helio G81.

However, this would mean a downgrade compared to the previous gen, as the Infinix Smart 10 was launched with the Unisoc T7250 processor, which offers slightly better performance on paper than the MediaTek Helio G81. That said, early database listings can sometimes contain placeholder or incomplete information, so the final hardware configuration may still change.

The phone has also been certified by TÜV Rheinland, which confirms a 5,100mAh battery. The same two model numbers, X6840B and X6840, appear in this certification as well, further supporting the idea that there will be multiple variants of the device.

For now, these are the details revealed through certification and database listings, with more information expected closer to the official announcement.
