Huawei Watch Fit 5 Series Clears UAE’s TDRA and TUV Certifications, Hinting at an Imminent Launch

The Chinese tech maker – Huawei’s Watch Fit 5 and Watch Fit 5 Pro smart wearable devices have now made their appearance on the UAE’s TDRA certification platform, along with the TUV certification database, revealing a few of their key details and suggesting an imminent global launch.

Huawei Watch Fit 5 Series – UAE’s TDRA and TUV Certifications

Starting off with the TDRA certification, the Huawei Watch Fit 5 has been listed with the model number of “NKI-B09”, while the Watch Fit 5 Pro carries the model number of “NKI-B29”. Both these devices have received certification approval on the 31st of March 2026, with the equipment registration numbers “ER58070/26” and “ER58071/26” respectively. Additionally, both models have been categorized under Bluetooth-enabled devices, confirming connectivity support for the same.

 

Coming to the TUV certification, the above-mentioned model numbers of “NKI-B09” and “NKI-B29” have been listed on two separate certification entries, and both devices are categorized as smartwatches. As per the ratings and principal characteristics, both the Watch Fit 5 and Watch Fit 5 Pro are revealed to feature an IP68-rated build, suggesting a rugged design with resistance against dust and water.

Previously, tipster Fixed Focus had revealed that unlike its predecessor, the Watch Fit 4 series, an Ultra variant is also expected to be introduced under the Watch Fit 5 lineup this year. However, this particular model has not made its appearance on the current certification platforms.

Furthermore, the same tipster has also suggested that the Watch Fit 5 series could debut alongside the Huawei Pura 90 smartphone series within this month of April. If compared with its predecessor, the upcoming smartwatch lineup could first launch in global markets, followed by its release in China.
