Honor Magic 8 RSR (BKQ-AN20) and Magic 8 Mini (LDY-AN00) Certified by China’s 3C Authority: 120W/66W Wired Fast Charging Revealed

Honor’s Magic 8 series (consisting of the Honor Magic 8 and the Honor Magic 8 Pro smartphone models) has already made its debut in the Chinese market, while the Malaysian launch of the Honor Magic 8 Pro smartphone has also been teased. Now, the upcoming Honor Magic 8 RSR and Honor Magic 8 Mini smartphones have been spotted on the 3C certification database, and the listing also points out their wired fast charging feature as well.

Honor Magic 8 RSR (BKQ-AN20) and Honor Magic 8 Mini (LDY-AN00) – 3C Certification

The Honor Magic 8 RSR with the model number of ‘BKQ-AN20’ and the Honor Magic 8 Mini with the model number of ‘LDY-AN00’ have received the 3C certification, and while the latter is listed as a ‘5G digital mobile phone’, the former is revealed to be a smartphone supporting satellite connectivity. For the Honor Magic 8 RSR device, charging adapters with the model numbers of ‘HN-200600C00’ and ‘HN-200600C01’ have been listed and it is revealed to support a fast charging capability of up to 120W. Regarding the Honor Magic 8 Mini, it is listed with the charging adapters carrying the model numbers of ‘HN-200400C00’ and ‘HN-200400C01’, and is revealed to offer 66W wired fast charging support (up to 80W as per 3C – 20VDC x 4A).

Speaking more, the tipster @ZionsAnvin who has shared this update also adds that based on recent leaks, the Honor Magic 8 RSR is said to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip from Qualcomm, whereas the Honor Magic 8 Mini may probably be using MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset. Furthermore, he notes that the Honor Magic 8 RSR may also be called the ‘Honor Magic 8 Ultra’.
