Honor Magic 8 Lite spotted on Google Play Console, launch expected soon

Honor is gearing up to launch the next Magic series smartphone, “Honor Magic 8 Series,” in its home country, China, next month. As per rumours, the lineup is expected to include the vanilla and Pro variants, similar to last year’s Honor Magic 7 series. However, we have now spotted a third variant called the Honor Magic 8 Lite on the Google Play Console supported devices list.

It is listed with two model numbers — MTN-NX1M and MTN-NX3 — along with the device code HNMTN-Q1. Apart from these details, no specifications have been revealed. Still, since the device has appeared on the Google Play Console, its launch seems imminent.

Given this listing, the Honor Magic 8 Lite could launch soon. Although the exact timeline is not confirmed, in most cases, devices spotted on the Google Play Console debut within a month or two. Also, Honor did not release any of the Magic Lite smartphones in its home market, China. Therefore, the Magic 8 Lite may once again skip China and launch globally instead.
