Honor Magic 8 Lite (MTN-NX1M) Certified by the EMVCo Authority, Revealing Android 15 OS and NFC Connectivity Support
Followed by its previous listings on the GCF and Google Play Console databases, Honor’s upcoming Magic 8 Lite smartphone model has now been certified by the EMVCo authority. Via the new certification listing, its Android version along with one of its connectivity aspects have also been revealed.

Honor Magic 8 Lite (MTN-NX1M) – EMVCo Certification
The Honor Magic 8 Lite smartphone carrying the model number of ‘MTN-NX1M’ has received the EMVCo certification with the approval number of ‘MTA_LOA_HODC_05735’. Notably, the moniker of the device has been mentioned on the certification database, and it is revealed to come equipped with the Android 15 operating system out of the box. Furthermore, the certification listing has confirmed an NFC connectivity support too for the upcoming device. To note, its EMVCo certification will be valid only till the 4th of September 2028.
Speaking more, the Honor Magic 8 Lite smartphone as per its GCF certification is pointed out to support 2G/3G/4G/5G network connectivity. Its Google Play Console database also suggested its soon launch as well. Moreover, this time too, the Honor Magic 8 Lite smartphone will directly be launched in the global market skipping the Chinese launch.
Regarding the Honor Magic 8 series debut, it is scheduled to take place in China this month in October 2025, and the Honor MagicPad 3 Pro will also be unveiled alongside it. Their 3C listings have already been spotted, confirming the 120W/90W wired fast charging feature. The standard Honor Magic 8 smartphone device has additionally made its appearance on the AnTuTu database too, scoring 4,166,339 total points on the benchmark test. To add, both the Honor Magic 8 series and the Honor MagicPad 3 Pro are also teased to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.
