PSAV Global x HTech – Honor’s ‘Made in India’ Smartphones to Enter Production in Q1 2026?

As per what has been reported (via The Economic Times), CP Khandelwal-headed PSAV Global has joined hands with Madhav Sheth’s HTech, and are planning to begin the production of Indian-made Honor smartphones aligning with the ‘Made in India’ initiative early next year. The report states that the production will begin by March 2026 (in Q1 2026), and the goal is to capture 1% of India’s market share – projecting INR 2,500 crore revenue.

Speaking more, Honor’s global sale has had an immense growth over the past few months and it is among the fastest growing brands that pose tight competition in the global tech sphere. In the Indian market however, Honor hasn’t been able to gain the targeted momentum after its re-entry back in 2023 (~ Honor left the Indian market previously in 2021*). With PSAV Global, the launch of Honor products in India is believed to come in line with the global launch time frames – once the local production starts. [It should also be noted that PSAV Global had set a target to begin production of Honor smartphones in 2024, but due to certain external factors, the brand couldn’t keep up with the set time frame.]
