HONOR 600 Lite EMVCo Certification Reveals NFC Support and Android 16

The HONOR 600 Lite, bearing the model number LNA-NX1, has now appeared on the EMVCo certification database after being previously spotted on the GCF listing. The new certification adds further details about the device’s features, particularly around NFC and software.

The EMVCo listing confirms the commercial name as HONOR 600 Lite and shows that the device received approval on January 16, 2026, with the approval number MTA_LOA_HODC_06113 and registration number HODC.V21 0404. The certification confirms support for NFC-based contactless payments, including both Type A and Type B communication protocols. It also mentions support for UICC² slot 1, eSE, and HCE within the execution environment. Additionally, the listing reveals that the phone will run on Android 16 and will be equipped with the PN560 NFC controller.

Earlier, the GCF certification had already confirmed several connectivity features. According to that listing, the HONOR 600 Lite will support 5G networks, including both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes. It also supports MMS, the H.264 video format, and complies with 3GPP Release 12 standards. The same certification further revealed that the device will offer dual SIM functionality with support for a physical SIM and an embedded eSIM, along with remote SIM provisioning for easier activation.
