Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro smartphones spotted on the Geekbench database; Key details revealed

The Chinese manufacturer Honor will soon be unveiling its Honor 500 series in the Chinese market. The series will include Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro models, and the brand has already started sharing key details related to this series.

Ahead of their launch in China, two Honor smartphones are spotted on the Geekbench database (via @ZionsAnvin) with model numbers MEY-AN00 and MEP-AN00. These are said to be Honor 500 and 500 Pro models, respectively.

Honor 500 & 500 Pro: Spotted on the Geekbench database

The standard Honor 500 model received a 2113 single-core score and 6539 multi-core score. The device is said to run on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC paired with an Adreno 825 GPU. It was spotted with Android 16 OS and a 16GB RAM option.

The Honor 500 Pro model received a 3100 single-core score and 9463 multi-core score. The smartphone is said to run on a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC paired with an Adreno 830 GPU. It was spotted with Android 16 OS and a 16GB RAM option.

Previously, these model numbers were also spotted on the 3C certification website.

Yesterday, it was revealed that the Honor 500 Pro will arrive with four storage options: 12/256GB, 16GB/1TB, 12/512GB, and 16/512GB, while Honor 500 will arrive with three storage options: 12/256GB, 16/512GB, and 12/512GB. Both models are already teased to be available in Aquamarine, Starlight Pink, Obsidian Black, and Moonlight Silver colour options.

It is suggested that the series may feature a 200MP portrait camera. The pre-orders for this series have already started in China.
