HMD Vibe 2 Smartphone Specs and Design Revealed Via a Retail Website Listing; Three New HMD Smartphones Including the HMD Fuse Spotted on the EPREL Database
Previous updates have already revealed that HMD has a few new smartphone devices in works and these are expected to hit the market soon. Now, HMD’s Vibe 2 device has been listed on a retailer website, revealing its specs and design. Three other new HMD smartphones have also been spotted on the EPREL database too.

HMD Vibe 2 – Revealed Specs and Design
The HMD Vibe 2 smartphone which will be arriving as the successor to the April 2024-released HMD Vibe device has been spotted on JB Hi-Fi (a retailer website), revealing that it will be made available in a 4GB/256GB storage option along with Dark Grey/Light Titanium color choices. Other notable key specs of this device include the Unisoc T606 chipset, Android 15 OS, 6.75″ display with 720 x 1200 pixels resolution + 90Hz refresh rate, 50MP + 0.8MP + 0.8MP triple rear cameras, 5MP selfie camera within a water-drop notch, 5000 mAh battery, 10W wired fast charging, fingerprint sensor, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Hybrid dual SIM tray (nano SIM + nano SIM/memory card slot ), Bluetooth v5.0, and WiFi are other revealed specs.
About the design, a dual tone design has been adopted with an overall flat boxy outlook. At the rear, two circular vertically-placed camera modules can be found on the top-left portion of the rear panel, housing the camera sensors. At the right of the first one, a dual-tone LED flash has also been given. The bezels are somewhat thin, but the chin is on the thicker side. Its volume rockers and power button are also given on the right side panel as well.
Three New HMD Smartphones on EPREL Database
On the EPREL database, HMD smartphones carrying the model numbers of ‘TA-1640’, ‘TA-1687’, and ‘TA-1695’ have been spotted, confirming their European availability. The ‘TA-1640’ is the newly-released HMD Fuse, while the latter two are respectively believed to be the HMD Pulse 2 and HMD Pulse 2 Pro smartphone models (as per the new update). All these mentioned devices have received an ‘A’ for battery efficiency – thanks to the 4900 mAh battery packed within them.
With its launch, the specs of the HMD Fuse have already been revealed, while the HMD Pulse 2 and HMD Pulse 2 Pro are now revealed with IP54-rated dust and water resistance, along with 20W wired fast charge support. Just to add, previously, the ‘TA-1695’ – HMD Pulse 2 Pro smartphone was spotted on the WiFi Alliance certification database, along with four other HMD smartphones as well.
