HMD- the brand known for launching budget-friendly and durable smartphones, is now rumoured to be working on a speaker- HMD Boom EI. Tipster @smashx_60 has recently shared the image of this speaker and also revealed some of its key specs.

The above image reveals a circular design for the speaker. It arrives in Blue colour, and there is an HMD logo at the top. Buttons for power, volume up and down, and playback are also present. A lanyard can also be seen, suggesting that the speaker is easily portable. This speaker looks a lot similar to the Boat Stone 190 5W speaker.
According to the tipster, it uses a 52mm driver and delivers a 5W output and 4-ohm impedance. It will be powered by an 800 mAh battery and can be charged via a USB Type-C port. The speaker is said to support Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, while there will also be an AUX port for wired connectivity. It is said to be equipped with a built-in microphone and to arrive with an IPX7 rating. These specs are also similar to the Boat Stone 190 5W speaker,
