Google Weather app for Android might soon be replaced: Reports

If you are an Android user and have tried searching for weather details on the Google app, you must be aware that the app offers a full-screen Weather experience launched from a homescreen shortcut.
Tapping on that shortcut, you are taken to a single feed that shows you details about the weather in your area. There is a weather background that imitates the weather conditions in your area with current temperature, high/low, condition and feels like details.
Then there is the hourly forecast, 10-day forecast, cards for Wind, Humidity, UV Index, Pressure, Sunrise & sunset and other details.
Last year, it was reported (via @9to5Google) that the Google Weather shortcut would not launch the weather app but would rather open the Google Search results page for “Weather”. It was revealed that various users have also received the notification about this change as well.

The same publication has now shared that the Google Search results page for “Weather” was recently redesigned with the Froggy card pulling double duty for current conditions and hourly forecast. There is also a 10-day forecast carousel and drop-downs for Precipitation, Wind, Humidity and Air quality.

Other than these changes, Google is also making use of AI Overviews to provide a summary of current weather conditions (as can be seen in the above image). Reportedly, the users who have received the notification of the weather page moving no longer have a “View all buttons” button at the bottom that opens the full-screen Weather experience. Scrolling down on this new experience shows web results.
Do note that this change has not fully rolled out yet; it might not be visible to everyone now. When I tried tapping on the Weather homescreen shortcut on my device, I saw the old full-screen Weather experience.
