Geekbench AI Score of the Upcoming Nothing Phone (4a) is Out, Revealing Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC and More

Earlier, Nothing had teased the launch of its upcoming Nothing Phone (4a) Series and is expected to bring Nothing Headphone (a) along with it.

The Phone (4a) Series is expected to launch with two smartphones, Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro. Out of the two, the vanilla variant has been spotted on the Geekbench AI database, revealing some key details.

Here is more to it.

Nothing Phone (4a) – Geekbench AI

Again, thanks to tipster Abhsihek Yadav, who first spotted the model number “A069” on the Geekbench AI listing. Moreover, while the listing does not disclose the exact name, Nothing’s naming convention suggests it will be the base model of the Phone 4a series. Which many tipsters in the past have also confirmed.

Moving on to the specs, the listing confirms that the Phone (4a) prototype was running on Android 16 OS, with 12GB of RAM (11.14GB). And unlike the Geekbench 6 listing, which reveals single-core and multi-core scores, the Geekbench AI reveals that the phone (4a) has managed to get a single precision score of 707, a half precision score of 1077, and a quantised score of 1265.

Furthermore, it shows that the device’s prototype has an octa-core processor, with a single core running at 2.71 GHz, 3 cores at 2.4 GHz, and the remaining 4 cores at 1.80 GHz, paired with an Adreno 810 GPU (revealed via the Geekbench AI’s source code). From this info, we can say the Phone (4a)’s prototype was running on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC.

Well, this isn’t a surprise at all, because early rumours had already pointed out that the Phone (4a) will come with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC, which this listing also reaffirms. Adding more to this, Carl Pei had also confirmed in an interview earlier that the Phone (4a) Series will use UFS 3.1-based storage. In addition to today’s Geekbench AI listing, the Phone (4a) was also previously spotted on the UAE’s TDRA and the Indian BIS certification.

Lastly, though not confirmed yet, the Phone (4a) Series may launch on March 5th, as per a tipster. But as with all leaks, it’s better to take it with a pinch of salt, and since the first cryptic teaser is already out, more details may officially come out soon.
