EPREL Database Reveals Infinix GT 50 Pro and Infinix Hot 70 with 45W Charging, Up to 55h Battery Life, IP65 Rating, and 1000x Battery Cycles

Infinix has two new smartphones in the works, one under its GT series called the Infinix GT 50 Pro and another under the Hot series called the Infinix Hot 70. Both of these have now been spotted on the EPREL database, revealing key details related to battery, charging, and durability aspects.

On the EPREL database, the Infinix GT 50 Pro (X6891) and the Infinix Hot 70 (X6895B) smartphones have been listed, and these devices have received the respective energy efficiency ratings of ‘C’ and ‘B’. Speaking more, of the two, the Infinix Hot 70 is the more energy efficient device, while the Infinix GT 50 Pro has a comparatively lower rating in the EPREL database.

In terms of battery life, 51 hours 43 minutes and 55 hours 9 minutes are revealed for the Infinix GT 50 Pro and Infinix Hot 70 models, respectively. About a few other revealed details, both devices are Android-based smartphones and do not feature user-replaceable batteries, while also supporting a 1000x battery cycle under default settings. The Infinix GT 50 Pro packs a rated battery capacity of 5990 mAh, whereas the Infinix Hot 70 offers a 5430 mAh battery.

Speaking more, both the devices have received an ‘A’ rating for the drop test, being tested for a free fall reliability of up to 270 drops without defects. This listing also confirms a Mohs level 5 screen scratch resistance, and an in-box protective cover for this device. In terms of ingress protection, the Infinix GT 50 Pro has received an IP64 rating, while the Infinix Hot 70 has received a slightly better IP65 rating.

Regarding charging, both the devices have been revealed to support 45W fast wired charging and feature a USB Type-C port. It also confirms that both the smartphones will offer 5 years of security and functionality updates.

In the repairability aspect, the Infinix GT 50 Pro has scored an index rating of 3.50, while the Infinix Hot 70, on the other hand, has scored an index rating of 3.42. Both the devices have received a ‘B’ rating for repairability.
