Alleged Xiaomi 17T’s Global (2602DPT53G) and Indian (2602DPT53I) Variants Spotted on Derka and BIS Certification; Key Details of Xiaomi 17T Series Revealed via IMEI and HyperOS Codebase
In October of last year, it was speculated from the IMEI listing for the Xiaomi 17T Series that the model numbers “2602DPT53G” and “2602DPT53I” belong to the Xiaomi 17T, while the Pro variant’s model numbers are “2602EPTC0G” and “2602EPTC0R”. At that time, the monikers were not listed on the IMEI database. However, a new IMEI listing now confirms the moniker Xiaomi 17T Pro for the model number “2602EPTC0G”.
Meanwhile, the global version of the standard Xiaomi 17T has appeared on the Derka certification platform, and its Indian version has been registered on the BIS certification website. Additionally, the HyperOS code base reveals details about the camera specifications and several other key features.
Here is more to it.
Xiaomi 17T Series – IMEI Database
According to a report by Xiaomitime, the model numbers “2602DPT53G” and “2602DPT53I” correspond to the global and Indian variants of the Xiaomi 17T. Meanwhile, the model numbers “2602EPTC0G” and “2602EPTC0R” are linked to the Xiaomi 17T Pro’s global and Japanese variants. These model numbers were spotted on the IMEI database, although the moniker has so far been confirmed only for the Xiaomi 17T Pro.

If we go by Xiaomi’s usual numbering pattern, the “2602” prefix could indicate a February 2026 launch timeline. However, that seems unlikely at this stage, as Xiaomi is reportedly preparing to introduce the Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Ultra, and the Xiaomi Pad 8 Series globally as early as next month. With those launches lined up, the Xiaomi 17T Series may instead arrive after March 2026.
Xiaomi 17T – Derka and BIS Certification
The global variant of the Xiaomi 17T, carrying the model number “2602DPT53G,” has been listed on the Derka certification platform. The certification was issued on 13th February 2026 with the certificate number “NL-123825.” The listing also mentions country codes such as EU and GB, pointing towards availability in European and Great Britain markets.
In addition, the Indian variant of the Xiaomi 17T with the model number “2602DPT53I” has appeared on the BIS certification website, effectively confirming its India launch. The BIS database also lists two additional Redmi-branded model numbers: “2602BRNA4I” and “26022PCACI.” At this point, no details are available regarding these two new models.
Xiaomi 17T Series – HyperOS Codebase
Further information from the HyperOS codebase reveals that the internal model number for the Xiaomi 17T is P12A, while the 17T Pro is P12U. The codebase also indicates that the rear camera setup will likely feature a triple camera system, consisting of a 50MP main sensor (OVX8000 on the 17T and OVX9100 on the 17T Pro), a 50MP telephoto lens (Samsung JN5D on the 17T and Samsung JN5 on the 17T Pro), and a 12MP ultra-wide sensor (OV13B on both models). On the front, there is a 32MP selfie camera. These camera specifications are similar to those found in the Xiaomi 15T Series.
Lastly, the codebase reveals that the Xiaomi 17T will have a 6500mAh battery, which is 1000mAh larger than the Xiaomi 15T’s battery. It will also support 67W wired fast charging. Regarding performance, the Xiaomi 17T is expected to use the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset, while the Xiaomi 17T Pro may be equipped with the more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC.
