Alleged Xiaomi 17 Ultra (2512BPNDAG) and POCO X8 Pro (2511FPC34G) Certified by Singapore’s IMDA Authority; Xiaomi 17 Ultra New Details, Renders, Packaging Box, and More Also Revealed

On the IMDA certification platform, the alleged Xiaomi 17 Ultra and POCO X8 Pro smartphones have now been spotted and via the certification listings, their launch in Singapore has also been confirmed. Moreover, more new details concerning the Xiaomi 17 Ultra flagship have been revealed.

Alleged Xiaomi 17 Ultra (2512BPNDAG) and POCO X8 Pro (2511FPC34G) – IMDA Certification

The alleged Xiaomi 17 Ultra with the model number of ‘2512BPNDAG’ and the POCO X8 Pro with the model number of ‘2511FPC34G’ have been listed on the IMDA certification database, and these are the global variants of the upcoming devices (as indicated by the ‘G’ in their model numbers*). Both of them are revealed to be 5G mobile phones, and they will be supporting Bluetooth, WiFi, and NFC connectivity. Notably, a reverse charging support has also been pointed out for the POCO X8 Ultra smartphone too (WPT/WPC). As mentioned, their arrival to the Singaporean market has also been suggested via the certification listing.

Xiaomi 17 Ultra – Newly-Revealed Details

As per the X update from @xJohnnyManuelx, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra which has already been teased to launch next week in the Chinese market, alongside the Xiaomi Buds 6 and the Xiaomi Watch, is said to have its launch likely on the 25th of December 2025 (however earlier updates suggested it to be on 26th December 2025). The same tipster also notes expected specs like 77.6mm width, 8.0mm thickness, 14-channel multi-spectral sensor, and Leica tele-convertor camera kit for the device. Furthermore, color options such as Black, White, Green, and Purple have also been tipped for the camera kit.

Also, a few possible renders of Xiaomi’s 17 Ultra iterative camera flagship have been shared by the tipster, along with the packaging boxes of the smartphone and the camera kit. To add, the lens arrangement appears somewhat similar to the spy shots that were leaked earlier.

Speaking more, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, 50MP (main, OmniVision OV50X 1-inch sensor) + 200MP (periscope telephoto, Samsung ISOCELL HP5) + 50MP (ultra-wide) triple rear camera system, 6,000mAh ~ 7,000mAh battery range, and 100W wired fast charging (as per 3C) are among the expected specs of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra.

Regarding the POCO X8 Pro, it has by now received the BIS, SGS, and EEC certifications, and specs like MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chip (not yet confirmed*), 6.6″ 1.5K 120Hz flat AMOLED LTPS display, main + ultra-wide dual rear cameras, 8000mAh+ battery (lesser in certain regions, SGS revealed 6500mAh battery), 100W wired fast charging, and metal frame are being expected. It is said to launch in January 2026, both in India and globally, at INR 30K+ pricing.
