Alleged Vivo Y400 Pro+ spotted on the 3C database; Battery and charging details revealed
Vivo has recently introduced its all-new Vivo Y400 5G device in the Indian market. Just after the launch of this device, the Vivo Y400 Pro+ has also become a part of the rumor mill.
A new Vivo device with model number V2506A was spotted on China’s 3C certification website, and it is said that the device could be the Vivo Y400 Pro+.
The device is revealed to arrive as a 5G Digital Mobile Phone. The device was listed with charging adapters carrying model numbers V9082L0A1-CN and V9082L0E1-CN, which reveals support for 90W wired fast charging. It is also suggested to be equipped with an 8010mAh battery.
Let’s take a look at the specs of the recently launched Vivo Y400 5G (Indian variant)
It has a 6.67-inch (16.94cm) FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,800 nits peak brightness, helping ensure content remains visible even in bright sunlight. The screen also includes an Eye Care Display certification for reduced blue light exposure.
It is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 mobile platform with a 4nm manufacturing process and runs on Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15. It is available in two memory options: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. Extended RAM support adds another 8GB as virtual RAM to improve multitasking. Storage compression technology assists in maximizing usable space. For better performance, it includes a dual-module cooling system with over 40,000mm² of cooling area.
The battery capacity is 6,000mAh, and it supports 90W FlashCharge, enabling a charge from 1% to 50% in about 20 minutes (as per vivo). AI-optimized sleep mode helps manage battery usage. Audio is handled by dual stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio certification and claimed volume output up to 400%.
The Y400 5G features a rear setup of a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor, plus a 32MP front camera. Camera modes include Night, Portrait, Dual View, Underwater Photography, and more. Vivo Y400 5G is rated IP68 and IP69 for resistance to dust and water, and includes a speaker drain mechanism for underwater usage.
Security comes via an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, while software features such as AI Transcript Assist, AI Note Assist, and Circle to Search aim to boost everyday productivity. Connectivity options include dual SIM 5G support, Wi-Fi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth, USB 2.0, and several satellite navigation systems.
