Alleged Vivo S50 (V2528A) Spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC
There was a small mix-up earlier regarding the model numbers of the Vivo S50 series. Initially, both the S50 and the S50 Pro Mini were spotted on the 3C certification website with the model numbers “V2528A” and “V2527A“. However, according to a new leak, V2528A actually belongs to the standard Vivo S50, while V2527A is for the S50 Pro Mini. And now, the “V2528A” model number has appeared on the Geekbench database, revealing key details about what will power the vanilla S50 smartphone.

The model number “V2528A” has shown up on Geekbench, first spotted by tipster Abhishek Yadav, who posted about it on X. According to him, this model number indeed belongs to the Vivo S50.
The Geekbench listing shows that the prototype achieved a single-core score of 2044 and a multi-core score of 5851. It also confirms a three-cluster CPU setup, with one primary core running at 3.01GHz, four cores operating at 2.80GHz, and three cores clocked at 2.02GHz.

The source code reveals an Adreno 735 GPU, which is only paired with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, strongly suggesting that the S50 will feature this SoC.
Other details include Android 16 and the firmware version PD2528C_A_16.0.7.10.W10. The prototype also shows a 16GB RAM variant, which is likely to be offered at launch.
The Vivo S50 series is confirmed to launch in December. Both models, according to the 3C certification, will support 90W fast wired charging. Despite the earlier confusion over model numbers, both devices have been confirmed by Vivo’s product manager to feature LPDDR5X (9600Mbps) RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
