Alleged Redmi Turbo 5 (2511FRT34C) Receives the 3C Certification; Redmi Turbo 5 Series Reported to Pack a 9000mAh Battery

The alleged Redmi Turbo 5 smartphone has now received the 3C certification from China, revealing its wired charging spec. Additionally, it has also been reported that the next Redmi Turbo 5 series will be packing a 9000mAh large battery backup.

Alleged Redmi Turbo 5 (2511FRT34C) – 3C Certification

On the 3C certification platform, a new smartphone carrying the model number of ‘2511FRT34C’ has been listed, and it has received the certification with the certificate number of ‘2025011606823316’. The device is categorized as a ‘5G digital mobile phone’, and a charging adapter with the model number of ‘MDY-18-EW’ has also been listed alongside it. To note, its 3C certification will only be valid till the 1st of November 2030.

Speaking more, this new 3C-listed smartphone is believed to be the alleged Redmi Turbo 5, and the charging adapter that has been listed also points to an up to 100W wired fast charging capability for this upcoming device. Also, its arrival to the Chinese market is now confirmed.

Redmi Turbo 5 Series – 9000mAh Battery Capacity

The Weibo tipster – Digital Chat Station had previously revealed that a new 9000mAh battery solution is ready with a wired fast charge support of 100W, and while the tipster did not mention anything regarding which device(s) will adopt it, via My Drivers it is suggested to come on the Redmi Turbo 5 series. Furthermore, tipster Digital Chat Station also notes about a 10000mAh battery solution too, however this is currently in its testing phase.

Looking into other updates, the standard Redmi Turbo 5 smartphone was earlier said to pack a 7500mAh battery, and therefore the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro (or a higher-end model) is probably going to feature the new 9000mAh huge battery. On the performance side, Redmi’s Turbo 5 is believed to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500 chipset, whereas the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro could be coming equipped with either MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500e chip or Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip (via Notebook Check).
