Alleged Redmi A7 Pro and Poco C81 spotted on Singapore’s IMDA certification

Two new smartphones have now appeared on Singapore’s IMDA certification database — one listed under the Redmi branding and the other under Poco.

Here is more to it.

Alleged Redmi A7 Pro and Poco C81 spotted on IMDA

The model number listed under the Redmi branding is “25128RN17A”, and under the equipment description, it is mentioned as “Mobile Phone with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi”. Meanwhile, the model number “25128PC17G” is listed under the Poco branding with the same equipment description.

Although the IMDA listing does not directly reveal the official monikers, an earlier appearance on the IMEI database suggests that the 25128RN17A model corresponds to the Redmi A7 Pro, while the 25128PC17G is associated with the Poco C81. Interestingly, both model numbers are nearly identical, with only the branding identifiers (RN vs PC) and the final letter (A vs G) differing — indicating that both devices could be rebranded versions of the same smartphone.

Further details come from the FCC listing, which confirms that both devices will be 4G smartphones powered by the Unisoc T7250 chipset, paired with the Mali-G57 GPU. They are also expected to run either Android 15 or the lighter Android 15 Go Edition.

The FCC documents also suggest that the devices may launch in a single 4GB LPDDR4X RAM variant, paired with either 64GB or 128GB of eMMC storage. Additionally, the listing mentions a 6.9-inch IPS LCD display with a waterdrop notch.

In terms of battery, the smartphones are tipped to pack a 6,000mAh battery with support for 15W wired charging.

Lastly, the GSMA database reveals the codename “arctic” and indicates that the devices will be marketed in the following regions: Europe (EEA), Türkiye, India, Indonesia, and Russia.
