Alleged Nothing Phone (4a) with model number “A069” spotted on UAE’s TDRA certification platform
Back in October, tipster Yogesh Brar suggested that Nothing would launch the Nothing Phone (4a) series in the first quarter of 2026 and revealed the model numbers. According to the tipster, model A069 is linked to the Nothing Phone (4a), while A069B corresponds to the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro, following the naming pattern used for the Phone (3a) series. In November, the model number A069 was spotted on India’s BIS certification platform, which hints at its India launch. Now, the same model number has surfaced on the UAE’s TDRA certification, suggesting that the device may also launch in the UAE market.
The TDRA listing identifies the product category as a mobile phone and lists the marketing name simply as “smartphone.” It confirms the model number A069, the equipment registration number ER55923/06, and the date of issue as 22 January 2026. While the certification does not reveal any specifications or mention the “Nothing Phone (4a)” moniker, its appearance suggests that Nothing is actively preparing for launch. Although an exact launch date remains uncertain, the earlier tipped timeline points to a Q1 2026 launch, meaning the device could be announced by March.

As with previous launches, Nothing is also expected to use a Pokémon-themed codename for its upcoming device. Based on the model number, the codename is suggested to be ‘Bellsprout’, which is ranked #0069 in the Pokédex. In the coming weeks, the brand could begin teasing the device by dropping a cryptic image of this Pokémon, hinting at the upcoming Nothing Phone (4a) series.
