Alleged iQOO Neo Pro smartphone spotted on Geekbench with Dimensity 9500, 16GB RAM, and Android 16

An upcoming iQOO smartphone has surfaced on the Geekbench database, sparking speculation about its identity. While the official name remains unclear, some tipsters suggest it could be from the iQOO Neo 20 series, whereas well-known tipster Digital Chat Station hinted at a “Neo Pro” model, without specifying if it would be the iQOO Neo 11 Pro or Neo 20 Pro, a successor to the Neo 10 Pro.

iQOO Smartphone spotted on Geekbench

It has been spotted on Geekbench with the model number V2520A. According to the listing, it achieved a single-core score of 3320 and a multi-core score of 9898. The chipset is shown to feature an octa-core CPU, with one prime core clocked at 4.21GHz, three performance cores at 3.5GHz, and four efficiency cores at 2.7GHz. Additionally, the source code confirms the presence of a Mali-G1 Ultra MC12 GPU.

All signs point to the unannounced MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC, which is scheduled to debut on 22 September.

Other details revealed by the Geekbench listing include 16GB RAM and Android 16 out of the box. Furthermore, the same model number was also spotted on the 3C certification recently, confirming support for 100W fast wired charging.

At this stage, the exact moniker remains a mystery. However, given the leaks so far, it appears likely that the device will launch as part of the upcoming iQOO Neo series.
