A Tipster claims iQOO 15 Ultra will not launch in India, but a different model may arrive

Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO has recently announced the iQOO 15 Ultra in its home market, China, and a new tip now suggests that the device may not be coming to the Indian market at all.

Here is more to it.

iQOO 15 Ultra – India Launch

According to a post on X by Yogesh Brar, iQOO does not plan to bring the iQOO 15 Ultra to India. This could be disappointing for some iQOO India fans, especially because the iQOO 15 Ultra introduces shoulder trigger buttons, a feature usually seen on gaming-focused smartphones, and something that would have been new for the Indian iQOO lineup.

That said, the tipster also adds that iQOO may launch a different smartphone in India instead. The statement is vague and does not specify whether this would be a rebranded model, a toned-down version, or an entirely different device.

In related news, iQOO is already preparing for another major launch in India. The company is set to introduce the iQOO 15R on 22nd February 2026.

The iQOO 15R is confirmed to come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, paired with a Q2 Super Computing Chip and a dedicated network enhancement chip. It is also confirmed to include a 50MP Sony LYT-700 main rear camera with OIS, a large 7,600mAh battery, a 6.5K Ice Core VC cooling system, and 100W Flash Charge support.
