Samsung Galaxy Buds Able – Galaxy Buds App String and Indian BIS Certification
As per the Galaxy Buds app code string, a new Galaxy Buds device named the “Galaxy Buds Able” is expected to launch with the model number “SM-U600”. This was first spotted by Android Authority, pointing towards a completely new Galaxy Buds lineup. However, no specification details have been revealed via this listing.
In addition to this, the model number “EB-BU600AAY”, which likely belongs to its battery, has been spotted on the Indian BIS certification platform by the folks at SammyGuru. Further, this same battery model number has also been identified on the TÜV certification, revealing a rated capacity of 515mAh and a typical capacity of 530mAh. This suggests that the charging case of the device will likely feature the revealed battery capacity.

However, looking at the naming, the word “Able” could suggest that the device may be intended for specially-abled users, particularly those with hearing-related concerns. It is also possible that this could simply be an internal codename, but the former seems more likely. Notably, Samsung usually uses the “SM-R” model number series for its earbuds, whereas this device carries an “SM-U” model number. Also, the brand has not yet introduced a medical-grade hearing aid product, suggesting that it could be planning to enter this segment.
Whatever the case may be, more details concerning this device are expected to be revealed soon.
