We recently spotted the Wi-Fi variant of the Xiaomi Pad 7 series on the UAE’s TDRA certification website, following its launch in China last month. Now, it seems the tablets are also heading to the Malaysian market, as they have appeared on the SIRIM certification database.

The Xiaomi Pad 7 is listed with the model number “2410CRP4CG “, while the Pro variant is listed with the model number “24091RPADG”. Both models were approved last month. However, the certification does not provide additional details about their specifications.

Additionally, the Xiaomi Pad 7 series has been spotted on the SDPPI certification site, while the Vanilla variant has also appeared on India’s BIS certification. Based on the UAE’s TDRA certification, we know that both models will lack cellular connectivity.

There is no official confirmation yet regarding the global launch timeline or additional details. However, it is expected that Xiaomi will release the series with similar specifications to the Chinese variants, possibly with slight variations in memory configurations depending on the region.

The certification listings reveal two model numbers: “2410CRP4CG” and “24091RPADG,” though the certification itself doesn’t explicitly identify which model number corresponds to which device. However, based on the Chinese variants’ model numbers – where the Pad 7 is “2410CRP4CC” and the Pad 7 Pro is “24091RPADC” – it’s reasonable to say that “2410CRP4CG” belongs to the global Xiaomi Pad 7 and “24091RPADG” to the global Pad 7 Pro variant.

Vivo S20 – 3C Certification

The upcoming Vivo S20 smartphone has been spotted on China’s 3C certification platform bearing the model number – ‘V2429A’, and is categorized as a 5G digital mobile phone. Charging adapters with model numbers – ‘V9082L0A1-CN’ and ‘V9082L0E1-CN’ have also been listed along with the smartphone device, confirming the 90W wired fast charge support.

As mentioned, previously Vivo’s S20 smartphone was certified by the TENAA authority, and the database pointed to more specifications. Some key specs that were revealed includes the octa-core processor(expected to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3), 8GB/12GB/16GB RAM options, 128GB/256GB/512GB/1TB storage variants, 6.67″ AMOLED display with 2800 x 1260 pixels resolution and 1073.74 million color depth, 50MP + 8MP dual rear camera unit, 50MP selfie camera, 6365 mAh rated battery (probably 6500 mAh typical Si/C battery), and under-display optical fingerprint sensor.

Based on a recent new update, the launch of the Vivo S20 series which may bring at least the vanilla S20 and S20 Pro devices to the market is tentatively scheduled to take place this month, on the 28th of November 2024.

Xiaomi Pad 7 – IMDA Certification

Xiaomi’s latest Pad 7 tablet has received the IMDA certification from Singapore carrying the model number – ‘2410CRP4CG’, and this is the global variant of the device. On the IMDA database, it has been listed as a low power tablet computer with Wi-Fi connectivity support.

With its debut in the Chinese market, the full specifications of the Xiaomi Pad 7 have already been revealed. To add, the global variant of the Xiaomi Pad 7 tablet was also spotted on the EEC database, while the Indian variant has received the BIS certification, confirming its European and India launch, apart from the launch in Singapore.

This article will be comparing two of the flagship tablet devices launched by Xiaomi and Samsung this year in 2024 very recently. Let’s compare Xiaomi’s October 2024 newly-released Pad 7 tablet and Samsung’s latest Galaxy Tab S10+ tablet that was unveiled in September 2024.

Xiaomi Pad 7 vs Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+

Based on the spec comparison of the two flagship tablets, the Galaxy Tab S10+ from Samsung is the best tablet device when compared to the Xiaomi Pad 7 tablet.

Firstly, in terms of performance, the Galaxy Tab S10+ offers a better and faster performance with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chip than the Xiaomi Pad 7 which is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor.

Coming to the display, a larger 12.4” better Dynamic AMOLED 2X display is offered on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+, however, the Xiaomi Pad 7 has a faster refresh rate support of 144Hz and higher resolution of 2136 x 3200 pixels.

About the cameras, again, a better 13MP(wide) + 8MP(ultrawide) dual rear camera unit and a better 12MP(ultrawide) front-facing camera are present in the Galaxy Tab S10+, while the Xiaomi Pad 7 only has a 13MP single rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera.

Regarding the battery, a larger 10,090 mAh battery is backed within the Galaxy Tab S10+. On the other hand, the Xiaomi Pad 7 only packs an 8,850 mAh battery. To add, both the devices support the same 45W wired fast charging feature.

Speaking more, the Galaxy Tab S10+ also comes with 5G network connectivity support and an under-display optical fingerprint sensor.

So, even if the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ falls a little behind in terms of certain specs, with respect to the overall specifications offered on the two tablets, Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S10+ is itself the best flagship tablet device when compared to the Xiaomi Pad 7.

The Diamond Limited Edition model of the smartphone is priced CNY 5999. The booking has already begun for the Xiaomi 15, with availability scheduled from the 31st of October 2024.

The Xiaomi 15 Pro device’s 12GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB have respective price points of CNY 5299, CNY 5799, and CNY 6499. The 16GB/512GB and 16GB/1TB models are available for pre-order, whereas the booking for the 12GB/256GB model is currently live. To add, for the Bright Silver Edition, customers will have to pay an additional CNY 200. Again, the sale will start on the 31st of October 2024.

The Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro are already available for purchase in the Chinese market. The Pad 7 model has price tags of CNY 1999 (8GB/128), CNY 2299 (8GB/256GB), and CNY 2599 (12GB/256GB), whereas the the Pad 7 Pro is priced at CNY 2499 (8GB/128GB), CNY 2799 (8GB/256GB), CNY 3099 (12GB/256GB), and CNY 3499 (12GB/512GB). With an additional CNY 200, customers will also be able to get the optional nano matter screen for 256GB and higher storage models.

Xiaomi will be unveiling its all-new Xiaomi 15 series on 29^th October in China. At this product launch conference, the brand was also said to unveil HyperOS 2 custom skin based on Android 15, Pad 7 series tablets, SU7 Ultra EV, and the Watch S4 smartwatch.

Well, Xiaomi has today officially revealed the design of its upcoming Xiaomi Pad 7 series. This latest tablet series will be launching along with the Xiaomi 15 series on 29^th October.

The series is officially confirmed to feature a 3.2K high-definition screen, full DC dimming, Super eye protection, and Xiaomi HyperOS 2. This series will arrive with AI features also. Xiaomi Pad 7 is revealed to be powered by Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC while Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro will be powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. The pre-reservations of this series have already started in China.

The tablet features a square camera module that houses two camera sensors and an LED flash. A punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, Speaker grilles, and Type-C port is present on the side. A stylus pen can also be seen in the above image which suggests that the series will arrive with its support.

Other than this, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has also announced that Redmi Band 3 sales will start in China on 29^th October as well, at 10:00 (local time in China).

The smart band features a full-screen layout for enhanced user interaction. The display offers a 60z refresh rate that is said to enhance the scrolling experience. It will offer 18-day ultra-long battery life while the smart band is also said to boost all-day health monitoring which suggests that the band will include heart rate monitoring, sleep analysis, and much more.

The reservations for this smart band have already started in China via Xiaomi Mall, JD.com, and TMall. It is priced at 159 Yuan. It arrives with Black, Pink, White, and Yellow color options.

Xiaomi – Product Launch Conference

Xiaomi’s product launch conference primarily for releasing its 15 series flagship smartphones, comprising the vanilla 15 and 15 Pro models, and the next HyperOS 2 custom skin will be conducted on the 29th of October 2024, at 7 PM local time in China.

The HyperOS 2 custom skin which is going to be based on the latest Android 15 operating system is the brand’s second reiteration of its HyperOS, and this time many AI features are suggested to be introduced to the brand’s entire HyperOS ecosystem.

It was only recently revealed that the Pad 7 series tablet models (Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro) will also be launched alongside the 15 series smartphones, and the pre-reservation for the tablets also went live with the 15 series devices in China. Some of the key specs of the Pad 7 series have been teased now.

The Pad 7 Pro is now confirmed to use the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, offering +13% cold start speed, +11% animation smoothness, and +11% multitasking fluency. The HyperOS 2 custom skin will also aid in the deep integration of hardware and software. On the storage side, an 8GB(LPDDR5X)/128GB(UFS3.1) storage variant will be available for the Pad 7 Pro model. To add, unlike what was expected, the Pad 7 tablet will be arriving equipped with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset.

Coming to the teased display specs, the Pad 7 series will be featuring a 3.2K ultra-clear flagship display with 11.2″ screen size, 3200 x 2136 pixels resolution, 345 PPI pixel density, and 144Hz refresh rate. Thus in total, the Pad 7 series has been teased with the tagline – ‘Powerful and efficient’.

Xiaomi entered the EV industry with four of its EV models (SU7, SU7 Pro, SU7 Max, and SU7 limited Founder’s Edition) that were unveiled this year, in March 2024. The SU7 Ultra model was unveiled in July 2024 and was said to hit the market this month in October 2024. Yes, the pre-reservation is currently open for the SU7 Ultra EV and customers will soon be able to get their hands on it.

Finally, the Watch S4 smartwatch that was spotted on the SDPPI and MIIT databases will also be debuted at the upcoming product launch conference. The teaser image reveals that the device would come in five color choices with different strap materials/styles and features a removable bezel like the CMF by Nothing Watch Pro 2. Reports had been pointing to the possible Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro launch in February 2024 this year, however, it turned out to be a new Xiaomi Pad 6 series tablet model itself – the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4.

Now, after the possible EEC listing of the Xiaomi’s next Pad 7 Pro tablet, the expected specifications of the device have been tipped by a Chinese tipster on the Weibo platform. With the new update, we get a glimpse of the upcoming device’s performance, display, camera, charging, and design features.

Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro – Tipped Specifications 

This update comes from the tipster Digital Chat Station and it aligns with other recent updates. He has pointed out that Xiaomi’s Pad 7 Pro tablet could be launched with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and be pre-installed with the Surge OS2. He also adds that it may feature an all-metal body and offer an 11.16″ LCD display with 3.2K resolution, high refresh rate(likely 144Hz), and full DC dimming.

A 50MP primary camera and a 67W wired fast charging support that are present in its predecessor will probably be adopted on to the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro too, as per the Weibo update. Moreover, the tipster notes that AI and deep interconnection are expected to be two of its highlights.

Based on previous reports, Xiaomi’s Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro devices are said to carry model numbers – ‘24091RPADG’ and ‘2410CRP4CG’ (global models) respectively. The two were also spotted on the EEC certification database with the mentioned model numbers, whereas the Xiaomi Pad 7 has been certified by BIS and IMDA certification authorities too.
