The Chinese smartphone and other consumer electronics manufacturer, Xiaomi, has unveiled two of its latest 13T series devices at the global launch event which was recently conducted in Berlin, the capital city of Germany.

Xiaomi 13T Series Unveiled

The first thing everyone will notice about the two newly launched smartphones is that they look very similar to the Redmi K60 Ultra device in terms of design, and are also IP68 rated. Both the Xiaomi 13T series devices come in three color choices and have multiple storage options. Unlike what was expected, the two smartphones also sport the Leica professional camera system.

Xiaomi 13T

Xiaomi’s 13T smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset and runs on the Android 13-based MIUI 14 custom user interface. The processor has a primary clock speed of 3.1 GHz and is coupled with the Mali-G610 MC6 GPU. It comes in two storage options – 8GB/256GB & 12GB/256GB.

The smartphone also features the CrystalRes AMOLED display with a screen size of 6.67″ and has a screen resolution of 1220 x 2712 pixels. The display also supports a refresh rate of up to 144Hz and has a peak brightness rate of 2600 nits.

For the cameras, at the rear, the Xiaomi 13T smartphone has a 50MP(wide) + 50MP(telephoto) + 12MP(ultrawide) triple camera setup. A 20MP front-facing camera is also present.

The device is backed with a 5000 mAh battery and supports a 67W fast charge feature. It can be charged from 0% to 100% in just 42 minutes.

Xiaomi 13T Pro

The Xiaomi 13T Pro comes equipped with a better and faster processor. It has the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset, with its primary core clocked at 3.35 GHz. The device is integrated with the Immortalis-G715 MC11 GPU and operates on the Android 13-based MIUI 14. The pro model comes in three storage options – 12GB/256GB,  12GB/512GB & 16GB/1TB.

It also features the same 6.67″ CrystalRes AMOLED display panel with a screen resolution of 1220 x 2712 pixels, 144Hz refresh rate, and a 2600 nits peak brightness rate.

At the rear, the same camera system has also been given with a 50MP wide camera, a 50MP telephoto camera, and a 12MP ultrawide camera. For selfies, the same 20MP front cam is also offered. Do note that the 13T Pro smartphone is said to have a shutter speed which is 63% higher than its competitor.

Regarding the battery backup, Xiaomi’s 13T Pro smartphone also packs the same 5000 mAh battery but supports a faster fast charge feature of 120W. The charging time from 0% to 100% is 19 minutes for the device.

Some of the other features of the newly introduced devices are 5G network connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6 with dual-band support or Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6e/7 with triple band support, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS and other location positioning systems, and an under-display fingerprint sensor. To add, the two smartphones will also be receiving 4 years of Android OS updates and 5 years of security patch updates.

The device is also likely going to feature a 6.67″ 1.5K AMOLED 144Hz display panel.

About the Pro variant, the Xiaomi 13T Pro, the smartphone is likely going to be the rebranded version of the Redmi K60 Ultra smartphone, which was launched in the Chinese market last month. The device may come equipped with the Dimensity 9200+ chipset and will run on the Android 13-based MIUI 14 custom skin. It might also have a 6.67″ 1.5K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.

At the rear, it is expected to sport a 50MP+ 13MP+ 50MP triple camera unit and likely a front-facing camera of 20MP. The smartphone may also pack a 5000 mAh battery with 120W fast charge support.

As per the recent review video that leaked key specs, this smartphone will come with a 6.67 inch 1.5K AMOLED display that sports a 144 Hz refresh rate.

Xiaomi’s latest 13T series smartphones are soon confirmed to have its launch in the global market, and the first teaser video for the series has been revealed.

Xiaomi 13T Series Global Launch Soon

The Chinese smartphone and consumer electronics manufacturer, Xiaomi, has now shared the first teaser video for its 13T series smartphones via its official Twitter handle. While the teaser video doesn’t reveal anything in particular about the upcoming smartphones, by asking the question regarding the typing sound and the “T” in the teaser video, it is obviously pointing to a smartphone having Leica cameras(suggested from the click sound) and also the “T”, confirming that it is the Xiaomi 13T series devices.

However, it should also be noted that Xiaomi’s 13T series will comprise two smartphones – the Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro devices, and only the latter is going to feature the Leica branded cameras.

It has now been confirmed that the series will have its global debut in the European market on the 26th of September, this month, in Berlin, Germany, at 2 PM local time (GMT+2).

Xiaomi 13T Pro smartphone might come equipped with the Dimensity 9200+ chipset from MediaTek and is likely to be coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. The device might also feature an OLED display with a 6.67″ screen size, 1.5K resolution, and a 144Hz refresh rate.

At its rear, the smartphone might also feature a Leica branded triple camera unit with a 50MP main camera(Sony IMX707), 13MP ultra-wide camera(Omnivision OV138) and 50MP telephoto camera(Omnivision OV50D). It is also confirmed to be backed by a 5000 mAh battery supporting a 120W fast charge feature.

About its certification, Xiaomi’s 13T Pro smartphone has received the NCC, FCC, NBTC, IMDA, EEC, SIRIM, and TDRA certifications. The device was also spotted on the Geekbench database. To add more, the render images that were shared online also revealed its complete design specs.

The Chinese smartphone maker, Xiaomi, is soon going to unveil its Xiaomi 13T series smartphones and ahead of their launch, the first look of one among the two upcoming smartphones have been revealed. Xiaomi 13T First Look

The design of the Xiaomi 13T smartphone shows great resemblance to the renders of its pro variant, the Xiaomi 13T Pro(rebranded Redmi K60 Ultra), and the smartphone has been revealed to have two colour variants – Black and Cyan/Green.

At its rear, the device has a projected square shaped camera module which houses three of its cameras and the LED flash. Unlike the 13T Pro, the cameras of the Xiaomi 13T smartphone is not Leica branded. The Xiaomi branding can be seen at the lower-left side of the rear panel and a few added details are given on the lower-right corner.

Coming to the side panels, the power button and volume rocker are placed at the right side panel, and towards the bottom, we are able to see the speaker grille, USB type-C charging port, microphone hole and the SIM card tray. At the top, there is an IR blaster and the additional microphones.

Speaking about the display, the device has a quite large full screen display with a centrally aligned punch hole selfie camera. It also has slim bezels with a chin that is seemingly slightly a little more thicker.

About its packaging box and contents, the box comes in White color with Grey/Silver markings and contains the ejector tool, documents(safety information, warranty card, and quick user guide), transparent back cover, the smartphone device, 67W charging adaptor and the data-cable (USB type-A to USB type-C). Just to add, the SIM card tray only holds two SIM cards on both of its sides and doesn’t have an option to add a microSD card (refer to below for clarity).

Regarding the specifications, the smartphone is revealed to come equipped with the Dimensity 8200 ultra chipset from MediaTek and will run on the MIUI 14 custom user interface based on the Android 13 operating system. It is also going to feature a 1.5K AMOLED display with a screen size of 6.67″, along with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a peak brightness rate of 2600 nits.

For the cameras, the device will have a 50MP Sony IMX707 (OIS) + 8MP + 2MP triple camera setup at its rear, and for selfies, a front-facing camera of 20MP. The device will also pack a 5000 mAh battery and will support a 67W fast charge feature.

Other features of the smartphone include an IP68-rated body, dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, a weight of 204 grams, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a heart rate sensor.

By now the smartphone has received multiple certifications including the IMDA, TKDN, FCC, NBTC, TDRA, and SIRIM certifications. The device has also been listed on the IMEI database. The Xiaomi 13T Pro smartphone has also received many certifications.

The Xiaomi 13T Pro smartphone was also listed on the Amazon UK shopping website and its listing pointed out that the launch date of the smartphone is on the 1st of September 2023. The Pro variant of Xiaomi’s 13T series has been tipped to be the rebranded version of the Redmi K60 Ultra smartphone that had its debut in the Chinese market a few days back, and the rendered images of the upcoming Xiaomi 13T Pro smartphone further confirms that the device is likely going to be the rebranded version itself.

The render images of the upcoming smartphone that have been revealed online (via MySmartPrice), feature a similar design to that of the Redmi K60 Ultra smartphone and the device will be having two colour variants of Black and Blue.

Speaking about the design, the smartphone has a slightly projected square-shaped camera module at its rear with a triple camera setup and an LED flashlight. We can also find the Leica branding on the camera module as well. From what it seems, the Black colour variant is going to have a glossy rear panel whereas the rear panel of the Blue colour variant will be having a leather textured finish. Xiaomi’s branding is also present at the bottom-left corner of the rear panel in a vertical manner.

Regarding the display, the smartphone has a quite large display with slim bezels that are a little thicker at its chin. The display also features a centrally aligned punch-hole selfie camera too.

Coming to its side panels, the power button and the volume rocker are placed on the right-side panel of the device, and we have the USB type-C charging port, the speaker grille and the SIM card tray at the bottom side panel. The smartphone also has microphones at the bottom as well as on the top. An IR blaster can also be spotted at the top of the device, however, it doesn’t have a 3.5mm audio jack.

Xiaomi 13T Series European and UK Price Points

It is now reported that the Xiaomi 13T smartphone in the European market is expected to have a price of €649 for the 8GB/256GB storage variant whereas in the UK, the device is likely to start at a price of £549 for the storage variant.

The other smartphone, the Xiaomi 13T Pro, as per the report, is going to be priced at €999 in the European market for the 16GB/1TB storage variant. The 12GB/512GB storage variant is reported to have a price of £699 in the UK.

Both these devices have received multiple certifications and are expected to have an imminent launch. The Xiaomi 13T Pro was also listed on the Amazon UK shopping website with its launch date mentioned as September 1st 2023.

The Xiaomi 13T smartphone has received the SIRIM certification with the type approval code of RGQL/25F/0623/S(23-2978) and has appeared on the certification platform with the model number, 2306EPN60G. The other smartphone, the Xiaomi 13T Pro, has made its appearance with the model number of 23078PND5G and has been certified with the type approval code, RGQL/33F/0723/S(23-3198). The certifications of the two devices will be valid till the 3rd of July 2028 and 16th of July 2028, respectively.

Speaking about the other certifications the devices have received, both the smartphones were recently certified by UAE’s TDRA certification authority. The Xiaomi 13T smartphone has also received the IMDA, TKDN, FCC, and NBTC certifications, and was listed on the IMEI database. The Xiaomi 13T Pro has also been certified by the IMDA and FCC authorities, and has received the EEC and NBTC certifications. The device has also made its way to the Geekbench database and was spotted on Amazon’s UK shopping website. Its listing on Amazon has revealed its launch to be in next month, on the 1st of September 2023, and the device has been tipped to be the global variant of the Redmi K60 Ultra smartphone which debuted recently in the Chinese market.

Both the devices have been listed as mobile phones with their certifications valid till the 14th of August 2026.

Regarding their previous certifications, the Xiaomi 13T smartphone has already been certified with the IMDA, TKDN, FCC, and NBTC certifications, and the device was also spotted on the IMEI database. The Xiaomi 13T Pro smartphone has received EEC, IMDA, NBTC, and FCC certifications and has made its appearance on the Geekbench database. The device was also listed on Amazon’s UK shopping website and the shopping platform mentions its launch date to be September 1st, next month. A recent report also suggests that the Xiaomi 13T Pro smartphone might be the global version of the Redmi K60 Ultra smartphone which was launched recently in China.

As far as its specifications are concerned, the Xiaomi 13T Pro smartphone from its Geekbench listing is revealed to come equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity chipset and is going to run on the Android 13 operating system. Since the device is expected to be the global version of the Redmi K60 Ultra smartphone, the device is expected to come equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset and is likely to have a 6.67″ 1.5K OLED display, 50MP OIS triple rear camera, 20MP front camera and a 5000 mAh battery with 120W fast charge support.

The Xiaomi 13T smartphone might also use the Dimensity 9200+ chipset or a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset and is expected to feature a 6.7″ 1.5K OLED display. A 50oo mAh battery with 67W fast charge support along with a RAM of upto 12GB and 256GB internal storage are also expected.
